Depending on the applicable privacy law and the nature of the processing, Embedful may act as a data processor or service provider, while the customer may act as the data controller or business responsible for the data.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights, permissions, notices, and legal bases to provide data to Embedful and to use that data through the Services.

(f) Data Source and Integration Data

Embedful may allow you to connect and retrieve data from third-party data sources and services, including, where supported:

• PostgreSQL databases
• MySQL databases
• Firebase and other supported databases or data services
• Google Sheets
• Google Analytics
• CSV and Excel files
• JSON data
• APIs and other supported external data sources

When you configure an integration, Embedful may process connection information, authentication credentials, access tokens, configuration settings, metadata, and data retrieved from the connected source, as necessary to provide the Services.

Embedful uses integration credentials and tokens only for authorized purposes associated with providing the Services. We do not intentionally access data from connected sources beyond the permissions and functionality necessary to provide the integration.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have appropriate authorization to connect a data source and process the data through Embedful.

(g) Dashboard, Widget, and Visualization Data

Embedful stores information necessary to create and operate charts, tables, counters, widgets, dashboards, templates, and other visualizations.

This may include:

• Dashboard and widget configurations
• Chart and visualization settings
• Data source configurations
• Selected dimensions, metrics, fields, filters, and date ranges
• Dashboard and widget access settings
• Template configurations
• Customer or tenant filtering configurations

Depending on the configuration of the Services, Embedful may retrieve source data periodically or when a dashboard, widget, chart, or other visualization is requested.

(h) Customer-Specific and Multi-Tenant Dashboards

Embedful supports customer-specific dashboards and widgets that allow customers to present data to their own customers or users.

Customers may configure tenant identifiers, customer identifiers, filters, or other parameters to ensure that users see data associated with the appropriate customer or tenant.

Where customers use these features, the customer is responsible for configuring appropriate access controls, tenant identifiers, filters, and permissions. Embedful provides the technical functionality for customer-specific data presentation but does not independently determine which data a customer should make available to its users.

(i) Embedded and Public Content

Embedful allows customers to embed charts, widgets, and dashboards into websites and applications. Depending on the customer’s configuration, embedded content may be public, private, password-protected, or restricted through other access mechanisms supported by the Services.

Customers are responsible for determining whether their embedded content contains information that should be publicly accessible and for configuring the available access controls appropriately.

(j) Job Applicants

If you apply for a position with Embedful, we may collect information contained in your application, resume, communications, and related recruitment materials.

Applicant information is processed solely for recruitment, evaluation, communication, and related legitimate business purposes.

2.2 How We Use Your Information

We may use information we collect to:

• Operate, maintain, and secure the Services
• Create and manage accounts and organizations
• Authenticate users and manage access
• Connect to and retrieve data from authorized data sources
